Lace-up heels and statement earring by JJDR

^look at the chin on that
Earring - JJDR
Top - Missguided or Boohoo
Trousers - H&M (Missguided alternatives here and here)
Heels - Public Desire

I love all the lace up stuff out at the moment and these Public Desire heels are so beautiful they make me wanna cry (partly because my feet are practically vertical but mostly because of their beauty). I am dying for a lace up top too but I haven't found one I really like yet so instead I wore my urban outfitters bra underneath a cami just to keep with the lace up theme. The statement earring I'm wearing is another piece I received from JJDR and it's such an amazing dupe of that Louis Vuitton one! (here) It looks so amazing as a statement piece with your hair to one side and really stands out.

It has been way too long since my last blog post as I've been focusing on exams and college work recently but I will be properly getting back into it with more regular posts when I'm free from sixth-form in the summer!

Lots of love,
Hannah

Striped shirt

Shirt - Zara
Leggings - Primark
Boots - Missguided
Bag - Zara (alternatives: Zara, Zara, Zara )
Bracelet - ℅ JJDR
Necklace - Accessorize (alternative: ASOS, Accessorize, Accessorize
Sunglasses - Dorothy Perkins(alternative: ASOS)

Can't quite believe I'm not wearing a coat?! Coats are my favourite thing so this is strange but I'm loving this tiny bit of sunshine :) I'm sure the coats will be back next post if I know anything about English weather.

This shirt is one of my most recent favourite purchases and I've been dying to feature it - It's a bit different to what I would usually get but I love that it can be worn really casually like this or styled more formally with some tailored trousers or something. I think it's good as a transitional piece too because you can layer it up for the chillier days or just like this if you're feeling brave. I talk about Zara clothing way too much I feel as if they should start paying me or something for all this advertising

I styled it with my Missguided boots, trusty Zara bag and my gorgeous 'barbell bracelet' from JJDR. Hope you like it! :)

Lots of love,
Hannah

Oh and just a tip - If you wanted to buy this shirt I bought it in a large so that it was oversized because It's naturally quite tight fitting and short

Pinstripes and LizLaw Jewellery

I AM NOW BLIND JUST FYI

Necklace - LizLaw jewellery
Top - Chazza shop (alternative - ASOS
Jeans - ASOS
Coat - Boohoo
Heels - ASOS (slightly cheaper and lower alternatives - ASOS
Clutch - Zara (alternives: Zara, Missguided, Boohoo
Sunglasses - Topshop

I was recently sent this necklace by the lovely Liz at Lizlaw jewellery (are we loving that alliteration?) and I LOVE it. The jewellery is so edgy, original and just completely unlike anything I've seen in all the usual high street shops. This piece in particular was from the 'Industrial glam' collection (hence my choice of location) but there is also loads of stunning delicate pieces as well - so I would definitely recommend having a look on the website! (www.byLizLaw.com)

In other news, I have been loving pinstripes lately and this piece was such a steal for £15 in the Boohoo sale! It's still in stock so I'd snap it up quick before it goes. I ran with the monochrome theme with a black roll neck (shocker) and I whipped out the white jeans because I feel that SPRING HAS SPRUNG.

Also, sorry about how serious I look in these wow I look like I'm a member of the mafia lurking in the industrial estate. Who doesn't love that look?

Lots of love,
Hannah

I went up to London the other week to go see an art gallery and thought I'd snap some pictures seeing as I haven't blogged in about two weeks! Anyone doing A-levels alongside a blog will feel my pain! So sorry if they aren't the best quality as they're just taken on my phone - already broken my New Years resolution of using a proper camera damn.

Moaning aside, here is just a simple outfit with many of my favourite things - a black roll neck, ripped jeans, pointed boots, and naturally, Zara.

Lots of love,

My favourite skin-care products for happy, healthy skin

I have been really obsessed with buying skin-care products at the moment so I thought I'd do a different kinda post this week and tell you guys about my favourite bits. I'm just gonna say I most definitely do not have perfect skin and to be honest it's something I've been a bit conscious of for a while now as I tend to get breakouts even now and then. But who doesn't ay? So instead of moping about it I decided to go and buy a whole bunch of stuff from The Body Shop and try and sort it out the best I can - and I've got to say my skin has improved so much as a result! So here we have it, my current favourite skin-care products:
This Micellar water has been the saviour of my life. My skin is very sensitive and for ages I struggled to find a makeup remover that didn't leave my face stinging or itchy. But this ohhmmygoood I love it. It's super gentle it's like putting water on and it and smells a bit like cucumber. (It can be used to take off both eye and facial makeup so it's a money saver as well)

Both these products are cleanser type things so I either use one or the other. The left one is this really cool heat mask that I got free when I signed up to The Body Shop loyalty card. It's called the 'Warming Mineral Mask' and it basically opens your pores so that you can get a deeper clean - you just dampen your face then put this on and it heats up immediately.
The one on the right is called the 'Camomile sumptuous cleansing butter' and its so brilliant. I mean I could spend hours rubbing this stuff on my face. Several of my friends have tried it and we all love it, you simply slather it on your face (a little goes a long way) and rinse it off with a flannel or muslin cloth. My face afterwards is as soft as a babies bum.

Next up is this tea tree set. I have heard great things about tea tree skin products so I tried out this little three part set. I can't find the set online but it comes with a foaming face wash, skin clearing toner, and a skin clearing lotion. First you do the foaming wash, then sweep the toner over your face with a cotton pad, then the lotion thing. Tea tree tends to be a bit harsh on the skin but I have to say putting the lotion on at the end really soothes it and leaves my skin feeling all dewy and properly cleaned.

I forgot to take a close up picture of the moisturiser oops, but its the burgundy tub at the top. It's from the Vitamin E range and it's called 'Vitamin E Intense moisture cream'. I don't know about you guys but my skin gets so dry in the winter - especially my forehead which is weird but hey. This is really thick and I just put it on before I go to bed so I wake up all moisturised.

Ooh just another top tip that my friend and I both find really works - put a generous amount of sudocrem on any pimples before you go to bed. Rub it in a little but just leave it to sink in overnight. I find it really makes a difference in the morning not to mention the stunning snapchats conversations we have in the late hours of the night with Sudocrem lathered on our faces.

So there we have it, my new makeup-free skin. Not perfect but happy happy happy.

Thanks for reading and let me know what you thought of my first beauty post!
Lots of love,
Hannah

(P.S If you're looking for a detox tea that targets your skin I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Stuarts skin purify tea. It's such good value and I've found that it totally makes a difference. It tastes kinda like normal green tea)
